Gisele Bundchen Keeps Quiet About Big Game

It’s Super Bowl weekend, and that means that football fans all over the world are getting ready for the big game tomorrow.  And while Tom Brady is busy getting psyched up and ready to win, his girlfriend Gisele Bundchen is staying out of his hair.

The Brazilian supermodel was spotted at the Rag and Bone fashion show at New York City’s Cipriani restaurant yesterday.  And when it came to commenting on her boy’s big upcoming game, she kept her lips sealed.

Maybe it’s because of Jessica Simpson’s drama surrounding her boyfriend Tony Romo’s poor performance as of late.  The “With You” singer has been threatened by Dallas Cowboys fans for her supposed negative impact on her QB beau.

Or maybe Gisele is just superstitious.  Nevertheless, when reporters started asking questions about the Super Bowl, she laughed and ran off.
 

Kylie Minogue Leaves Paris, Martinez Behind

Fresh off of an appearance at the 2007 NRJ Music Awards over the weekend, Kylie Minogue was spotted saying her goodbyes as she hopped on the Eurostar from Paris back home to London on Tuesday (January 27).

The 39-year-old sop actress turned pop star caused a little stir the day before by reuniting with her ex fiancé Oliver Martinez and his dog Sheba in the French capital.

According to Daily Mail reports, “She was spotted walking his Rhodesian ridgeback yesterday and onlookers say the former lovers later met up in Yves St Laurent before heading off to the Café de Flore.”

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Minogue and Martinez split in February of last year after reports surfaced that “he cheated on her following her breast cancer ordeal, earning him the nickname Le Rat.”

Ali Larter’s Valentine’s Day Promotion

Showing off a brand new hairdo, Ali Larter spent Tuesday helping to unveil the Godiva Decadence Suite, a hotel room designed with chocolate from top to bottom at the Bryant Park Hotel in New York City.

“It’s the perfect bit of sin,” the Heroes hottie told press of “the Godiva chocolate pearls that are her private daily indulgence”. 

According to Newsday reports, Larter is the face of the Belgium-based chocolatier’s annual Valentine’s Day promotion - which is the chance to win “a pampered getaway weekend for two in May” in a re-created chocolate suite at the Bryant Park Hotel.

A note informing the buyer of his or her good luck will be packaged in one of the $23 and up box of chocolates - available only in North America.

Heath Ledger’s Dad Visits Son’s Apartment

In the wake of the tragic death of Heath Ledger, his father Kim paid a visit to the late actor’s apartment earlier today.

Reportedly, the elder Ledger was escorted inside the Broome Street apartment building in Manhattan’s SoHo district via a rear entrance.  According to press, he spent about an hour in apartment #4 with several security guards.

According to a witness, he was also taken to memorials in both the basement and the garden.  Kim seemed pleased, remarking, “It’s beautiful.”

According to real estate listing, the apartments in Ledger’s building rent for $24,000 a month.  And while Heath’s untimely death is still fresh in the minds and hearts of his family, friends, and fans, it sounds like his father and assistant will be moving his stuff out of the apartment this week.
 

Hayden Panettiere Plays Hero to Whales

Continuing her saga to “Save the Whales Again,” Hayden Panettiere was spotted in Washington D.C. yesterday doing some press.

The Heroes babe looks to be the perfect spokesperson for the cause, with the perfect mixture of a sweet and innocent look, and a fierce philanthropic agenda.

And she totally looked the part, with a conservative grey skirt, and an equally-as-conservative black sweater.  The next thing you know, she’ll be Barack Obama’s running mate!

By virtue of her position, Hayden got to hang with the likes of Nick Rahall and ex-Presidential candidate John Kerry.  Not too shabby!
 

Jessica Alba Visits MTV’s TRL

Note to movie studios - if you want an actress who will tirelessly promote your films, regardless of pregnancy, Jessica Alba is your woman.

The “Good Luck Chuck” actress was spotted doing promotion for her new gig “The Eye” yesterday at MTV Studios during the taping of Total Request Live.

It’s the latest in a long line of promotional stops for the Dark Angel.  Earlier this week she stopped by David Letterman’s Late Show, as well as The Today Show and Live With Regis and Kelly.

And as always, Jess looked fabulous during her TRL appearance, sporting an off-the-shoulder dark knee-length dress with matching stockings.
 

Victoria Beckham Gets Naked for Charity

If you happened to be at the Logan Airport in Boston on Monday, you may have noticed a little “Spice” in the air. 

Actually it was two Spices and their little spice rack, as Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell, as well as their kids, touched down on the east coast.  The pair, who recently made $20 million each on their Spice Girls London gigs, created quite a stir as they made their way from the terminal to their waiting cars.

And speaking of creating a stir, it seems Posh is stirring up a little nudity for a good cause.  Beckham is raising skin cancer awareness by stripping down for a new Marc Jacobs T-shirt.

She told press, “Since we moved to California I have realized how important it is to practice safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys’ skin well protected as well. Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc’s initiative.”

The signed T-shirts will be on sale starting next week.
 

Paris Hilton’s NYC Media Marathon

Former “Simple Life” starlet Paris Hilton was spotted out and about in New York City yesterday, but it wasn’t all fun and games for the heiress.

It turns out she was in town to do a little promotion for her upcoming film “The Hottie and the Nottie,” set to release February 8th.

The first stop on the “House of Wax” actress’ agenda was MTV’s Total Request Live, where she showed up wearing a fabulous blue-with-gold-polka dotted dress.

After her TRL gig, Paris headed over to the Ed Sullivan Theater for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.  And as you may have guessed, with the new show came a new dress. 

The “Stars are Blind” singer paraded around the outside of the theater with a dozen roses, wearing an off-the-shoulder yellow dress and a pair of cute black and white shoes.
And speaking of shoes, Paris has a new line of footwear out on the market.  She told press, “I have always loved shoes, and after working on my recently launched sportswear and fragrance lines, this seemed like a natural next step.  Paris Hilton Footwear is perfect for the fashion-forward young woman who wants to look and feel great from head-to-toe, without spending a fortune.”
 

Britney Spears Gets A New Ride

She was having so much trouble with flat tires, it seems Britney Spears opted for a new car.  And it isn’t just any car.

The “Gimme More” singer said “Gimme that!” when she saw her new 2008 Mercedes Benz SLK 320 convertible.  And when the two-seater - which she paid an up-front amount of $55,000 for - was delivered yesterday, she just had to take it out for a spin.

Unfortunately, her sense of direction didn’t improve, and Brit had to stop and ask the trailing paparazzi for directions during her hour-long tour of Hollywood Hills. 

Spears was wearing a pair of jeans and a black jacket with brown leather knee-high boots.  Thankfully she didn’t run out of gas, ‘cause those boots didn’t look like they were made for walkin’.
 

Over Eva Longoria’s Dead Body

With her new movie coming out this Friday, Eva Longoria has been hamming it up for the press.  And it looks like she’s having a great time.

The “Desperate Housewives” actress was spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of “Over Her Dead Body” last night, dressed to kill as she charmed the crowd.

Her purple dress and diamond earrings accentuated her glowing skin.  And that flower accent on her dress was the perfect ‘playful’ addition to an otherwise ‘serious’ ensemble.

As for her character in the movie, Eva told press, “It’s hard to relate to her because she dies on her wedding day and she’s a ghost throughout the whole movie.  She’s really feisty and she fights for her man. I think we have that in common - I’d definitely haunt (my husband) Tony.”

And Longoria’s co-star, Lindsay Sloane, complimented her work on the film, saying, “She worked her little butt off, and I mean little butt - her butt is so small.”
