Paris Hilton’s Bi-Coastal Week

She’s been busy in New York City doing press for her new flick “The Hottie and the Nottie,” and last night, Paris Hilton returned to sunny California via LAX airport.

The “Stars are Blind” singer was rocking her Fila gear (she’s a paid endorser, you know) including a fuzzy purple warm-up jacket, along with some bright white shades.

After her arrival (and an outfit change), Paris headed over to Katsuya in West Hollywood with her “Hottie” co-star Christine Lakin.  Following dinner, they opted for some dancing and drinks, so they checked out the S Bar.

But once they arrived, trouble ensued.  Of course, Miss Hilton had no problem gaining entrance to the exclusive club.  But when Lakin (in full “Nottie” getup) tried to go in, she was instantly blocked.  Only after Paris came to clear up the misunderstanding was Christine allowed to enter.
 

Rihanna Named “Sexiest Female Musician”

Wearing patent leather boots and toting along a leopard print suitcase, Rihanna stayed bundled up as she made her way through airport security at LAX airport earlier today (January 30).

The R&B superstar recently received the honor of being crowned the sexiest female musician by lingerie company Victoria’s Secret.

According to press reports, “The Bajan beauty topped the underwear specialist’s 2008 What’s Sexy? list, which is compiled by the company’s executives every year.”

Meanwhile, there’s also been good new in the music department, as Rihanna’s been named as a supporting act on Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour.
 

Britney Spears Pulls An All-Nighter

After taking a spin in her new Mercedes Benz earlier in the evening, a British Britney Spears was up to her usual with Sam Lufti in the midst of her family allegedly trying to stage an intervention.

According to a source on the scene, “She kicked off the late night doings by checking into The Beverly Hills Hotel, emerging approximately two hours later at midnight donning a familiar pink wig and making her way to the local Rite Aid to pick up numerous items including the laxative Correctol.”

As the sun began to rise, “Spears made a pit stop at a Malibu gas station where she bought a mega case of Red Bull, and promptly began to down one upon returning to the passenger seat of her car.”

The source finishes off the recount of the night, telling: “By the time Spears made her way back to her Beverly Hills home the sun was bright in the sky and Britney seemed to be in a fighting mood, yelling and cursing at Sam to let her drive.”
 

Brooke Burke’s Maternal Marathon

This girl is a baby making machine!  Brooke Burke is pregnant with her fourth child (she had two kids with Dr. Garth Fisher, and one other child with her fiancé David Charvet) and she’s looking like a seasoned pro.

The “Wild On” babe was spotted doing a little baby shopping on Robertson Boulevard yesterday.  The paparazzi caught up with her heading into Bel Bambini in search of some good stuff.

And Brooke isn’t letting her status as a mommy-of-almost-four keep her from staying fashionable.  She wore a comfy-looking black zip-up hoodie with a long white t-shirt and some baggy black Capri-style yoga pants.

Jessica Alba Praised By Eva Longoria

She spent the past week promoting her new movie “The Eye” in New York City. And now, Jessica Alba and fiance Cash Warren have made their grand return to Los Angeles.

The parents-to-be were spotted early Wednesday morning at LAX airport - looking a bit unhappy at the photography coverage awaiting their arrival.

Meanwhile, both Jessica and Cash recently received compliments from “Over Her Dead Body” actress Eva Longoria.

The Desperate Housewife told People magazine of Alba’s mothering skills:”She’s going to be amazing! She has to be one of the most compassionate, loving people you’ve ever met, and she is going to raise the most awesome human being in this world!”

Continuing to pour on the love, Eva tells of the Sin City starlet’s fiance: “Cash has to be another amazing human being. So the two together – it’s a no-brainer!”

And, on a side note, recent rumors tell that Jessica was spotted picking up a few items with a blue theme. But don’t count on any official announcement - as Alba told David Letterman that she intends to keep that information private.
 

Britney Spears Reunites With Her Mom

As a follow up to the Gossip Girls article about Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, showing up at LAX on Sunday, it looks like she was coming to town to see the “Gimme More” singer.

Last night started off pretty rocky for Brit, with her manager/pal Sam Lufti trying to get her to see her mother, as well as a psychologist.  And Lufti didn’t want her to see her boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, either.

And that wasn’t the news that the “Toxic” singer wanted to hear.  She stormed out of Sam’s car in tears and sat down outside her gated home sobbing.  Eventually she hopped in a paparazzo’s car (his name was Felipe) and drove into the gates of her home.  Adnan tried to get in as well, but was unsuccessful.

Around 9:07pm, Brit’s father, Jamie, showed up outside her Summit home.  He sat outside the gates for a few minutes, and finally went inside.  Lynne arrived soon thereafter to join them.

At 9:30pm the “Piece of Me” singer left her home, and was spotted driving around Los Angeles with Adnan.  During their travels, they ended up getting a flat tire, before returning to Spears’ home just after 11pm.

But the night didn’t end there… around 1:30 this morning, Britney, her mother Lynne, Sam Lufti, and Chad Hardcastle were spotted at Longs Drug store.  After grabbing a few items, they left in an SUV, heading back to Spears’ home.
 

Jessica Simpson Gets Tipsy with Tony Romo

After her rough night, you have to wonder if Jessica Simpson is taking her cues from Tara Reid.  The “With You” singer was spotted leaving the Key Club in West Hollywood, and it was clear that she’d had enough to drink.

Simpson was aided by her BFF/hairstylist Ken Paves, as well as her Dallas Cowboys stud boyfriend Tony Romo as she made her way to the waiting SUV.

Jess was at the Key Club for a Metalskool concert (they’re a 1980s metal band)… not really the kind of gig you’d expect her to be at.

And according to Simpson’s rep, the OK! magazine story reporting that Jess and Tony broke up was “utterly false.” Cindi Berger told press, “I’ve spoken to both Jess and Tony, and they are completely secure in their relationship and won’t let this garbage get under their skin!  That rag completely fabricated and made up this story.”
 

Kevin Connolly Goes Flat

Yesterday wasn’t a good day for celebrity tires.  Not only did Britney Spears have a blowout while tooling around Hollywood, but Kevin Connolly also found himself in need of a spare.

The Entourage star was spotted outside Fred Segal yesterday afternoon following a shopping trip.  And it looks like he was waiting on the AAA guy to get there and change his tire out for him.

And since he started dating Jennifer Aniston, Kevin has taken a big step up in the world.  According to a source, they’re taking it slow for the time being.

“What’s really interesting is that Jen is quite happy to take things slowly. Because she’s been hurt in the past, she sometimes finds herself quizzing potential dates on their plans for the future before she has even got to know them. With Kevin, she is happy to let her flirty and funny side show.”
 

Lindsay Lohan: “Working Through Her Addictions”

New York City is a great place for celebrity sightings this week.  While Jessica Alba has been busy doing press for her new flick The Eye, our favorite little trouble maker Lindsay Lohan has been dining out in the Big Apple.

LiLo was spotted out to dinner last night in NYC with some friends.  She wore a fuzzy black frock with matching stockings and a gleaming white-with-black-straps handbag.  And though her activities seemed harmless, it sounds like she had a wild time at the Beatrice Inn this past weekend.

Reportedly, the Mean Girls actress was boozing it up, knocking back “at least two vodka cocktails” this past Friday night.  But according to a source close to Lohan, it was much tamer than everyone thinks.

The insider told press, “Lindsay is learning how to work through her addictions and, once in a while, she chooses to have a cocktail.  People over exaggerate her behavior when in fact on Friday night, many people commented to her on how composed she was.”
 

Mariah Carey’s Rodeo Drive Shopping Spree

When you’re one of the world’s most loved pop singers, you pretty much have everything you want at your fingertips.  And Mariah Carey took full advantage of her celebrity during a recent trip to Rodeo Drive.

The “Always Be My Baby” singer was spotted by the paps spending money like it was going out of style yesterday.  It was like a scene out of “Pretty Woman”… well, minus the whole hooker thing.

Carey, along with her dog, stopped in to the Gucci boutique for some new clothes before heading over to Van Cleef & Arpels for some serious bling and champagne.

And it sounds like yesterday’s retail romp was the end of a long weekend for Mariah.  According to a source, this past Friday, “Mariah Carey flew into L.A. just for Benny Medina’s birthday bash and gave a toast, before helping present Medina with his birthday cake.”
