Audrina Patridge Snubs GGW Offer

She’s quickly becoming one of the hottest paparazzi targets in Hollywood, and yesterday Audrina Patridge was spotted outside of her Los Angeles house.

The “Hills” babe arrived home in her white Mercedes-Benz sports car looking positively sexy in a tight green zebra striped dress and a pair of flip flops - heading off to Maxim’s Hot 100 party later in the evening after a change of clothes.

And though she definitely has a lion’s share of sex appeal, it seems Miss Patridge isn’t looking to revisit the days of her nude photo scandal.

At the 5th anniversary party for Ashton Kutcher/Wilmer Valderama’s restaurant Dolce, Girls Gone Wild guru Joe Francis reportedly tried to get Audrina to sign on to work with his company.

Francis was overheard telling Patridge’s friends, “Tell her I’m legit!” but she seemed more interested in a romantic date with her boyfriend than talking business.

Kristin Davis Talks Alcoholism

As the “Sex and the City: The Movie” countdown carries on, the eager anticipation of SATC fans is compounded daily.  And yesterday Kristin Davis stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman as part of the promotional trail.

Looking fine in a conservative-yet-sexy purple floral print dress, Davis schmoozed with fans outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre as she made her way inside to tape her interview.

And while her SATC character is known for knocking back a few cocktails from time to time, Kristin says that in real life she stays dry, on account of her past.

She told press, “I’m a recovering alcoholic.  I’ve never hidden it, but I’ve been sober the whole time I’ve been famous, so it wasn’t like I had to go to rehab publicly.”

Davis continued, “I believe [alcoholism] is a disease. I don’t think you can mess with it. [People would ask me] ‘Couldn’t you just have one glass of champagne?’ And I would say, ‘No.’ I’m doing well. I still have occasional bad days. Why risk it?”

Jennifer Lopez Breaks From Baby Duty

Taking a breather from baby duties, Jennifer Lopez stepped out for a business lunch at the celebrity-popular Orso restaurant on Thursday afternoon (May 22).

Following her meeting, the new mother of twins then headed off to nearby Brentwood to pay a visit to a medical building for undisclosed reasons.

The short time away from her daughters, Max and Emme, comes as a much-needed rest - as Lopez has reportedly refused to find a new nanny to look after her girls because she wants to be a full-time mom.

According to press reports, “The nanny Lopez and husband Marc Anthony hired to look after three-month-old twins Max and Emme left the job last month (April 08), and, instead of replacing her, Lopez is caring for the pair around the clock.”

Of the situation, a friend recently told Us Weekly, “She’s beyond hands-on. They both told their managers that the next year would be all about family.”

Ashley Tisdale Drops By American Idol Finale

Recently returned to Los Angeles following work on the Utah set of High School Musical 3, Ashley Tisdale turned up at last night’s star-studded American Idol season finale.

The 22-year-old actress sported a cute black ensemble as she posed on the red carpet outside of the Nokia Theatre - soon after heading inside to catch the night’s festivities, which ended with David Cook beating out David Archuleta as the season’s Idol winner.

As for her much-anticipated new Disney movie, Chris Connelly caught up with the entire cast of HSM3 on-set before the shooting of a prom night scene.

“We have, like, a prom scene. It’s actually a play that we’re putting on about a prom … I have to say we’ve never dressed so nice—it almost feels out of character. But you only get to do it once,” Ashley’s co-star Zac Efron said.

Tisdale then added that she not only went to prom but that, “I graduated too. I went to a regular high school.”

High School Musical 3 will be the first film in the series to open on in theaters - due out this October。

David Cook Talks Idol Win

He’s the latest in a long line of American Idol season winners, and David Cook seems to be taking his massive victory in stride.  Last night after he was announced as the Season 7 champ, the Blue Springs, Mo bartender talked to press about his experience thus far.

Maintaining an air of humility, David said that he’s up for whatever his Idol status brings his way.  “I actually walked into this with no expectations and I’m walking out of it with no expectations. This show is a springboard, but it’s still a crapshoot. I could easily walk out of this arena and be just a regular Joe tomorrow. I hope that’s not the case. It’s kind of up to everybody else.”

As for his initial reaction to the win, Cook revealed what was going through his head. “That my music teacher Mrs. Gentry made me sing in a Christmas pageant in second grade, and now I’m here. The ride has been pretty, pretty nuts. You know you couldn’t write this … or maybe you can, I don’t know maybe you guys can. But I can’t.”

And when asked if he knew he’d won prior to the big announcement, Cook said, “I didn’t. You know, the respect that I have for David Archuleta is very much past a competitor thing. He has more talent at his age than I know what to do with at 25. So, to be able to share the stage with him was an honor for me. And I went into Tuesday just to have fun, and so the fact that I walk out of here as the next American Idol is not a testament to me so much as it’s a testament to the other 23 contestants we had this season, and to everybody behind the scenes.”

Britney Spears: Vegas Comeback Talks

She’s been busting her buns at the gym, and singing her heart out in the studio, and now it seems Britney Spears is working on a career jumpstart in Las Vegas.

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, the “Piece of Me” singer was spotted earlier this week having dinner with George Maloof Jr., the owner of Palms Hotel and Casino in Sin City, and now we know why.

According to an inside source, Brit is planning to perform a series of concerts at Maloof’s venue to the tune of $10 million.  How’s that for paying off some legal bills!

The source told press, “She wants to make a splashy comeback in Las Vegas. She wants the show to be full of high energy and flashy costume changes. [It will be a] multi-million dollar stage production she hopes will jump-start her career.”

Kiefer Sutherland Divorce Finalized

Four years from the time the papers were originally filed for divorce, a frustrated Kiefer Sutherland finally got his wish!

Press reports tell: “A Superior Court judge signed off on the divorce Friday, and the 24 star’s ex will drop the ‘Sutherland’ from her name.”

Kiefer was married to his wife, Elizabeth Sutherland, for nearly 8 years when he decided to file for divorce - claiming the two had irreconcilable differences.

At the time the divorce was filed, Sutherland and his wife had already been separated for 5 years. Talk about a drawn out separation!

Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Two Lovers”

Gracing the red carpet with her dazzling self, Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Cannes Film Festival in southern France on Monday (May 19) for the screening of her new movie, Two Lovers.

Not alone on the red carpet, Miss Paltrow was joined by director James Gray, Italian designer Valentino, Israeli actor Moni Moshonov and US actress Vinessa Shaw.

Wearing a black satin Chanel dress, some eye-catching dangling earrings, and a simple-but-elegant updo, Gwyneth looked radiant as ever as she showed off her pearly whites for the camera.

The 35-year-old actress’s new movie “Two Lovers” is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Joaquin Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor (Paltrow).

Halle Berry Goes Shopping with Babydaddy

Most of her time as of late has been consumed with caring for her newborn daughter Nahla.  But yesterday Halle Berry took a little time for herself.

The “Monster’s Ball” babe and her boyfriend/babydaddy Gabriel Aubry were spotted out and about in Hollywood doing a little retail therapy.
They stopped by the celebrity popular Fred Segal boutique, and both new parents were looking mighty fine.

Especially Halle - she’s definitely been dropping a few pregnancy pounds in the subsequent weeks since giving birth.  And she looked cute as could be in a casual grey loose-fitting dress, while Gabriel opted for a t-shirt and trousers as he carried Miss Berry’s finds.

Angelina Jolie: Back at Cannes

When it comes to celebrity sightings at the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival, no one is getting as much attention as mother-of-twins-to-be Angelina Jolie.

Earlier today the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” hottie was spotted at a photo call for her new movie “The Changeling” at the Palais des Festivals.

And the mother-of-four looked very chic in an all-black ensemble including a scoopneck top, flair-legged trousers and a hipster blazer.  She even managed to look uber-cool next to Clint Eastwood, the film’s director.

Given her double pregnancy, Ang told press that traveling has become more and more about planning ahead. “Because we have twins, we have to get to know a doctor wherever we’re based, just in case they come early.”
