Katie Holmes Calls It A Day

Working in television can involve long hours and exhausting schedules. And last night (July 16), Katie Holmes headed home from the “Eli Stone” set, escorted by husband Tom Cruise.
The “Mad Money” cutie looked like she’d put in a hard day’s work as she walked to the car sporting a black tank top underneath a grey cardigan sweater with a pair of baggy French-rolled jeans and a pair of heels.
As for her motivation to return to her network television roots, an insider revealed it was all about reuniting with producer Greg Berlanti, whom she worked with on “Dawson’s Creek.”
ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson told press, “It’s a really special piece of business. Greg came to me with the idea because he really had a creative way to do it. And he and Katie wanted to get back together and do something. It’s a great role for her. There is some singing and dancing she does. And she’s exquisite.”
