Tucker Carlson vs. David Gregory: Jeremiah Wright Scandal a Win
Posted on Mar 17, 2008 under Entertainments Gossip |David Gregory takes over for Tucker Carlson staring on Monday and what a show he will walk into thanks to the preacher for Barack Obama. Jeremiah Wright has now been exposed as an America bashing preacher and no one seems to be asking Obama the tough questions, or frankly even the easy ones.
Will Gregory land the interview with Obama and if he does will he go after Obama? The easy questions are right there to be asked. One of the worst highlights (I guess they should be called lowlights) for Jeremiah Wright is a sermon that he preached the Sunday after the 9/11 attacks.
He blamed America for the attacks and Barack Obama said he never noticed. Churches were packed on the Sunday after the attacks as America was in shock. One can only guess that Obama and his family were in church somewhere so if he wasn’t at his own church, can he at least enlighten us where he was on that Sunday.
The next question is easy as well. If Obama wasn’t at his own church, did none of the other parishioners discuss the fact that his spiritual mentor blamed America for the attacks once he returned. And once he heard it, how could he expose his children to such hatred?
I’m looking forward to Gregory’s attempt at cable news. Many have accused him as having a massive ego and note that he loves face time in front of the camera. He’ll get it now and he has a shot to blow the Obama - Wright story wide open on the liberal network MSNBC. Will David Gregory have the guts?
The new show will be called Race For the White House and certainly he walks into the biggest scandal of the political season. So long Tucker, this should be a whole lot more interesting.
